Bernard Cheese
Printmaker, painter and illustrator, Bernard Cheese studied at Beckenham College of Art and at the Royal College of Art where he met and married Sheila Robinson. From 1950 to 1989 he taught printmaking at three London art colleges. His work is held in the collections of H.M. the Queen, the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Museum of Modern Art New York, the Ashmolean Museum Oxford, the Government Art Collection and the Fry Art Gallery Saffron Walden which holds the North West Essex Collection of artists who were associated with Great Bardfield between 1930 and 1970. www.fryartgallery.org
